Responsibilities

As a Supervisory IT Specialist Deputy Technology Architect/Senior Infrastructure Engineer, you will:
-Manage the establishment of cloud environments and supporting of cloud-hosted operations.
-Provide guidance on all existing and proposed cloud-based architecture ensuing that the design supports strong performance and operations.
-Ensure that enterprise-wide automated systems are designed, developed, enhanced and maintained in accordance with HUD, Ginnie Mae, NIST and FISMA guidance, policies, procedures and regulations.

This position is located in the Government National Mortgage Association (Ginnie Mae), Office of Enterprise Data and Technology Solutions.  Ginnie Mae is a wholly owned government corporation created to help expand homeownership opportunities for low and moderate-income Americans, by linking global capital markets to the nation’s housing markets.  The Office of Enterprise Data and Technology Solutions designs, builds, synthesizes and implements cloud-based solutions that meet Ginnie Mae’s business requirements.

Qualifications

You must meet the following requirements within 30 days of the closing date of this announcement.

Specialized experience:For the GS-15, you must have one year of specialized experience at a level of difficulty and responsibility equivalent to the GS- 14 grade level in the Federal service. Specialized experience for this position includes:
-Working with Cloud technology and
-Working with agile framework processes and principles, VMWare or Hyper-V, hyper-converged infrastructures or multi-tenant Cloud structures; and
-Working with IaaS, SaaS, PaaS hosted services and
-Leading a team or staff with the design and implementation of cloud hosted solutions.
