The Infrastructure team is responsible for the architecture, design, implementation, administration, and operational support of the Lionbridge IT Infrastructure including: data centers, virtualization platform, global WAN, security, storage, AD Services, Exchange, Office 365, Azure, Skype for Business, and other systems management solutions.
Responsibilities
Architecture & Design
Stay current with industry technologies, evaluate existing systems and infrastructure, identify and advocate solutions for continuous improvement.
Maintain existing infrastructure solutions. Perform routine administration, maintenance, and troubleshooting.
Manage small to medium sized projects initiatives, define scope, create and execute implementation plans.
Design solutions and processes to optimize operational efficiency, systems availability and performance.
Implementation & Operations.
Create and maintain detailed functional and operational documentation.
Qualifications
The ideal candidate will thrive in a fast-paced environment, and have well balanced systems design, implementation, and troubleshooting skills. A self-starter with the ability to rapidly learn and familiarize themselves with a complex environment is essential.
5+ Years progressive experience in a Systems Admin / Engineering, or Technical Support role
Hands on experience with the implementation and administration of the following technologies
Azure AD / Active Directory w/ AD Services (DNS, DHCP, GPO Management) – Required
Systems administration using PowerShell – Required
Office 365 Exchange and related protocols (SMTP, POP3, IMAP) – Required
Email security / threat protection and hygiene services (TLS, Digital Signatures, Phishing and SPAM prevention, SPF, DKIM, DMARC) – Required
Office 365 Productivity Suite, OneDrive, Skype for Business, Teams – Highly Desirable
Admin and Governance of Azure Cloud Services – Highly Desirable
PowerShell Scripting – Highly Desirable
Windows Server Roles (ADFS, IIS, NPS, WSUS, Cert Services, Failover Clusters) – Preferred
Hyper-V & Windows Storage Spaces Direct – Preferred
Functional understanding of networking concepts; routing, switching, firewalls, load balancers, proxy services, & protocols (TCP, UPD, HTTP, TLS, SIP, SMTP, SNMP, LDAP)
Must possess excellent technical written and verbal communications skills
Advanced troubleshooting skills and the ability to mentor junior technical staff
Education:
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent job experience in related field
