Job Description
The successful candidate should have the following qualifications and skills:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- 3-5 years of experience in heavy equipment (gas & diesel engines), hydraulic, electrical & pneumatic systems maintenance, diagnostics and repair
- Knowledge of and ability to use hand and power tools associated with vehicle and motorized equipment repairs
- Excellent troubleshooter, ability to perform work independently, & works well under pressure to meet required deadlines
- Strong communication and listening skills. Ability to read, write & speak the English language.
- Safety & compliance knowledge associated with repair & maintenance of heavy equipment, vehicles and motorized equipment.
- Valid driver’s license, ability to pass DOT physical, and willingness to travel to construction sites, as needed.
