Job Description

QUALIFICATION:

Basic Qualifications/Requirements: 
•Bachelor’s Degree with a minimum of 8+ years of experience performing database automation and integration (ideally leveraging an agile methodology) 
•3+ years’ experience as a Senior DBA or Database automation Engineer; Expertise in designing/configuring mission critical, highly available and high throughput Databases 
•3+ years of experience in MySQL 
•3+ years of experience in Oracle OR MS SQL 
•Experience with production systems and dealing with production issues 
•A clear understanding of cloud service and deployment model 
•Competence in using scripting to automate frequently executed activities 
•Deploy and support automation systems and tooling in a 24×7 production environment 

Desired Characteristics: 
•Database experience with MongoDB, Postgres, Cassandra 
•Experience in migrating Database from on-prem to public cloud 
•2+ years IaaS/Public Cloud (AWS / Azure / GCP) experience to instant and configure up databases for mission critical, highly available and high throughput application 
•Establish and consult on best practices and standard operating procedures for development, deployment, support, break-fix, and systems management 
•Assess usage and utilization trends to make appropriate design and implementation recommendations towards scaling our architecture 
•Scripting Proficiency in PowerShell, Python, Perl or other 

(1.) To adhere to quality standards, regulatory requirements and company policies 

(2.) To provide support for on call escalations and doing incident & problem management 

(3.) To independently resolve tickets & ensure that the agreed SLA of ticket volume and time are met for the team.

(4.) To ensure positive customer experience and CSAT through First Call Resolution and minimum rejected resolutions / Reopen Cases 

(5.) Work on value adding activities such Knowledge base update & management, Training freshers, coaching analysts & conducting interviews/participation in hiring drives 

(6.) To participate or contribute on EN business in creation of proposals to drive Service improvement plans.
