Job Description

Job Responsibilities

  • Collaborates with Contract Directors and Contract Managers with day-to-day management of information related to current and potential clients, special projects, report generation, and presentation materials.
  • Creates and manages reports to track contracts. Extracts information as requested and supplies information in a clear and legible manner. Secures missing contract information from clients and provides feedback and recommendations on information, as appropriate.
  • Develops and maintains a professional working relationship with various internal departments and external clients in order to help further support the needs of the Contracting Team. Resolves issues or routes questions accordingly.
  • Processes requests and notifications received from internal departments and external clients, coordinates meetings, and responds to different account assignments.
  • Communicates to clients and recommends enhancements to contracted programs. Ensures a consistent flow of communication between internal team members in addition to external clients.
  • Manages the contract routing and signature process, and manages internal contract documentation ( i.e., status reports ).
  • Participates in, leads and contributes to monthly Coordinator/Analyst meetings to discuss current issues and other predetermined topics, as appropriate.

Basic Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree OR a High School Diploma/GED and at least three (3) years of experience working with contracts
  • Experience using time management skills such as prioritizing/organizing and tracking details and meeting deadlines of multiple projects with varying completion dates.
  • Experience providing customer service to internal and external customers, including meeting quality standards for services, and evaluation of customer satisfaction.
  • Experience analyzing and reporting data in order to identify issues, trends, or exceptions to drive improvement of results and find solutions.
  • Experience using Microsoft Office


Preferred Qualifications

  • Prior experience with 3rd party contracts setup and implementation.
  • Prior experience working in managed care or pharmacy field.
